I hope the vitamin D fixes things for you. I'm sorry you have to deal with the loss of your precious Mariam, I will pray for you during this difficult time of the year.
Congratulations on the success of your picnic, I'm so happy that it went over well!
That's a beautiful bag! I've been bugging my mom to teach me how to sew, even if it's just the basics I'd love to have some skills using the machine. I think those would sell very well & I love the colors you chose.
I, too, have a problem with soda. I can have maybe 6 cans a day, sometimes more, which is really bad!!! I think that, and lack of excercise, is why I've gained so much weight over the years. I eat more or less healthy otherwise, most of the time.
Good luck to you! My highest weight was 286 and I was also a size 28. I am 5'8". I understand why you would rather have the lap band, but I would encourage you to think really hard about the gastric bypass. It has changed my life. I am 5 months out, and I have lost 75lb, which is on the low side of average. I now wear a size 18/20 easily and have some 16s I can fit in. With LapBand, the weight loss is much slower and you have to go in constantly for fills to get the band just right.
I'm so glad the levels came back normal. I can only imagine how frustrating the whole experience was for you. I also think it's great you are showing others what to be on the lookout for, great job!
I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I have no advice, but you do have my prayers. Also, giving in to everything will not prevent a meltdown. Believe me, I speak from experience. There will ALWAYS be something to meltdown about.
wow I didn't know you were considering the by pass surgery. I have a friend who is looking into as well and know several folks who've had it. Good Luck!
Keep looking..the right house for you will come. I can't believe all the 2 bedroom homes in that area but I guess that's common for homes that age. Good Luck!
Lisa - I'm sorry. I *do* hope that you can get a support group going so that mothers have another opportunity for support. It doesn't seem as though there's any support going on at the hospital group and that is so sad.
Hey Lisa! We just purchased this statue last week too when it was 40% off at Hobby Lobby!!!! We loved that one and there were a few others that I fell in love with too.....We also got a large sized one of a baby laying in hands for our garden outside (the previous one will stay in the house). They had another one of a baby laying (surrounded) in angel wings.......that one was precious too!
They have sooooo many good ones!!! Each year they come out with different ones that are really good!
