History

October 2003 - The Memories of Mariam Project started out as delivering gift bags to a local hospital for bereaved parents.

November 2003 - Affiliated with ILAC of Southern Illinois

January 2004 - Started the Certificate program, sending out Commemorative Birth Certificates and Recognition of Life Certificates to bereaved parents nationwide.

May 2005 - Certificate program went worldwide, shipping to Canada, England, Amsterdam and The Netherlands.

February 2006 - Bereaved Mothers Bracelet program was put into place, offering free bracelets to mothers who have lost a child.

November 2006 - Incorporated in the State of Illinois as a Not For Profit Organization.  Elected first board of directors.

June 2007 - Local support group began.

November 2007 - Applied to become a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Nonprofit Organization.
